Art Deco inspired, a mosaic of gold, soft green and emerald green is deployed in carpets and friezes. During this period, there was a return to classical rigor after the volutes and organic forms of Art Nouveau. The motifs are simplified, reduced to figures influenced by cubist geometrization and ancient, Greek or Roman arts. Green or yellow, combined with black and white, are particularly popular color combinations. The name of the Augusta collection is a nod to the name of the city of Limoges, cradle of French porcelain and the Bernardaud factory, under the Roman Empire: Augustoritum .
